My friend Bernie is still trying to save Ben Stein and "Expelled" from the Holocaust. Here's his latest:
Dear PF,
I disagree that they “used the Holocaust in order to tarnish those who promote the theory of evolution”. See the movie. I doubt whether they saw the movie also. But if they did, ADL was merely being politically correct or simply wrong in their interpretation. The scientific community brutalizes those who would discuss (or permit discussion of) the concept of intelligent design. See the movie.

Dear Bernie,
Stein is going on every Christian talk show that will have him, promoting this travesty of a movie by saying things like “science leads to killing people.” Here he is with Pat Robertson [SEE BELOW] saying the same lying crap. He repeats absolute nonsense as if he actually knew what he was talking about, and that lying anti-semite Robertson eats it up. Ben Stein is the point man for this movie. These are the conclusions HE drew from the movie. Are you seriously suggesting he got it wrong? Or maybe you think Stein didn’t see the movie.

The truly amazing part of all this is that in real life, Bernie would no more make common cause with these evangelical nitwits than run away to join the circus. Stay tuned. I'm sure there will be more.

Is this guy for real, expecting Evolution to explain physics as well as many other things? Has he not heard of gravity? I wonder if pixies fly into his window at work and help him guess the financial future with crystal ball and tarot cards!Thanks for the information though - I will make sure I watch the film now - it best be a laugh from one end to the other.
